iOS 10.2 Jailbreak to Hit with YaluX

iOS 10.2 came patched with many exploits that have been used for jailbreak including previous project zero exploits used in 10.1.1. But with Todesco’s constant experimenting “YaluX” going to be turned as a workable jailbreak for iOS 10.2. In fact, iOS 10.2 Jailbreak is now on the horizon with sincere thanks to developer Todesco, who going to expand “YaluX” in near future. So this is all what we know so far about the upcoming public jailbreak iOS 10.2.

iOS 10.2 jailbreak

Shattering the long silence where nothing found, Luca Todesco came with “YaluX jailbreak”. Delivering his word, he has built the tool on Google’s project zero exploits to work for iOS 10.0.x-iOS 10.1.1 for 64-bit device models. The tool came a beta but winning a lot of consideration as the first ever jailbreak for iOS 10. Even this was a great piece of fact for those who have managed on iOS 10.1.1, it left a little regret on all upgraded iOS 10.2 and missed the chances for downgrade. In fact, the exploits used for YaluX are anyway come closed in latest iOS 10.2 with no hope for tool YaluX. But is that mean iOS 10.2 Jailbreak is impossible? Not at all, Luca the developer behind “YaluX” has proven it with no much delay, expanding his beta tool to work for iOS 10.2 too. So now “YaluX” is the hope of jailbreakers on iOS 10.1.x as well as iOS 10.2.

iOS 10.2 Jailbreak by Luca Todesco

Luca did not plan YaluX to build for iOS 10.2 jailbreak. In fact, he himself disclosed the uplifted security features of iOS 10.2, when the firmware was introduced to the public. But in the way to his final “YaluX” tool build, he has found iOS 10.2 too still vulnerable to jailbreak. So with that, we are now close to jailbreak iOS 10.2 with same YaluX which was previously only planned for iOS 10.0.x-iOS 10.1.1.

iOS 10.2 jailbreak

Having said that, a new tool will soon reach public. But with some hardware security limitations, the jailbreak will work for non-iPhone 7/7 Plus in 64-bit device range. But as this only come in iOS 10.2 jailbreak, you will get iPhone 7 jailbreak with any YaluX compatible previous firmware.

iOS 10.2.1 is Now in Betas

Soon with the release od iOS 10.2, Apple started working for iOS 10.2.1. As it looks a minor scale update to iOS 10, you can expect more security features and bug fixes via 10.2.1 which is planned to reach public soon. As of now, iOS 10.2.1 beta 4 is out for both developers and public testers to taste the changes in the way to its final landing. If not, you would miss the upcoming tool from Luca which now found the only jailbreak tool release for iOS 10.
